The expressive murals in the chapel of Agios Georgios are related to the painting of Antonios in the old katholikon of the Monastery of Xenophon, in fact it has been proposed to be attributed to him. They articulate a special
artistic discourse, having assimilated influences from both dominant currents in 16th century painting.
