ECCLESIASTICAL ART

Despite the difficulties and the various catastrophes which caused the loss of many valuable artefacts, up until the 11th century the Monastery managed to keep the most precious ones. The collections of the Monastery have great intrinsic value, and some of the collections are the largest on Agios Oros.
