The Abbot of the Monastery, Michael, signs a decision of the Sava I who defines the Athonian possessions of the Chaldou Monastery.
1278
Presumed stay of patriarch Athanasios I in the Monastery.
1294
Emperor Andronikos II Palaiologos issues a Chrysobull that confirms the possesion of the Monasteries.

Ruling of Yakinthos Kerameos.

St. Gregory Palamas lives close to the ascete Gregory of Drymi, in the Skete of the Monastery of Karakallou.
1570
The ruler of Wallachia Ioannis Petros Rares buys a number of ‘Metochia’ on behalf of the Monastery and later on he becomes a monk.
1674
The King of Iberia, Artchel, together with his brother, George Vachtag, cares for the Monastery.
1813
The monastery becomes a community again.
1854
Abbot Damascinos donates to Chieftain Tsamis Karatasos a nice horse, an act that leads him to exile.
1923
Fotis Kontoglou, a well-known Greek writer and painter, lives in the monastery during his first visit to Mount Athos.
